The TSX Issuer Education Session
Upon listing, new TSX issuers are invited to attend a brief meeting, commonly following a listing ceremony, where TSX brings officers of the Company together with the TSX managers who will support the Company going forward. The objective of an Issuer Education Session is to develop a relationship between the issuer and the exchange that fosters trust, and to answer questions dealing with proper procedures and future activities. It is our mission to put corporate governance, timely disclosure, and technical guidelines, rules, and laws into the context of day to day operations. The listing manager continues with the file to maintain historical continuity.
As this is a technical audience, our presentation will outline corporate governance and timely disclosure but deal in detail with technical expectations under NI 43-101. We will include the key aspects of our evolved capital market relationship that distinguish the TSX from other stock exchanges: our (collective) technical depth and the market maker system.
